Easy Chicken Liver Pate
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken livers
- 1/2 c onion chopped
- 1/2 c butter
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 hard boiled egg
- 2 T cooking sherry
- 1 t salt
- dash black pepper
- dash cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet.
- Add chicken livers, onion, and garlic and saute for 10 minutes, or until chicken livers are cooked through.
- Combine chicken livers, onion, and remaining ingredients in a blender and blend until well mixed.
- Form mixture into a loaf and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Serve with crackers.
