Easy Chicken Liver Pate

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken livers
  • 1/2 c onion chopped
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 hard boiled egg
  • 2 T cooking sherry
  • 1 t salt
  • dash black pepper
  • dash cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a large skillet.
  • Add chicken livers, onion, and garlic and saute for 10 minutes, or until chicken livers are cooked through.
  • Combine chicken livers, onion, and remaining ingredients in a blender and blend until well mixed.
  • Form mixture into a loaf and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Serve with crackers.
