This slow cooker bacon and beans recipe is a great alternative to baked beans. It consists of 7 ingredients, and is cooked in a crock pot for 5-7 hours.
What you need:
- 2 (15 -16 oz) cans great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 lb bacon, chopped and cooked
- 1/2 c onion, chopped
- 1/2 c ketchup
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 2 T prepared mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
What you do:
- Combine all ingredients in a 3.5 quart crock pot slow cooker and mix.
- Cook on low for 5-7 hours.
