Bacon Potato Chowder
This easy bacon potato chowder recipe consists of 9 ingredients, including corn and sour cream.

- 1 4 quart or larger saucepan
Ingredients
- 8 slices cooked bacon cut into half inch pieces
- 2 c potatoes cubed
- 1 c onion chopped
- 8.5 oz can of corn drained
- 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
- 1 c sour cream
- 1.25 c milk
- 2 T butter
- 1/4 t dried thyme
- 1/4 t black pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large saucepan.
- Add potatoes and onion and saute until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Mix in remaining ingredients.
- Simmer until heated through, approximately 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
