This easy slow cooker barbecue chicken recipe can be made with chicken breasts or thighs. Cook in a crock pot for 6-7 hours on low.

Slow Cooker Barbecue Chicken
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast halves or thighs
- 10.75 oz can tomato soup
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1/2 c green pepper chopped
- 1/4 c vinegar
- 2.5 T brown sugar
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 t liquid smoke
- 1 t dried basil
- 1 t dried thyme
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Salt and pepper chicken.
- Place chicken breasts or thighs in the bottom of a 3.5 quart or larger slow cooker / crock pot.
- Add remaining ingredients to a medium bowl and mix.
- Pour mixture over chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
