Easy Sausage Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Italian sausage browned and drained
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 8 oz package egg noodles cooked al dente and drained
  • 8 oz package cream cheese softened
  • 8 oz package Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 c cottage cheese
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/4 c sour cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large skillet, combine Italian sausage, tomato sauce, garlic, and onion and mix.
  • Bring mixture to a simmer and continue to simmer for 5 minutes; set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together cottage cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream.
  • Add mixture and cooked noodles to the skillet and mix.
  • Pour contents of skillet into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
  • Sprinkle casserole with Mozzarella cheese.
  • Place in oven and bake for 40 minutes.
