What you need:
- 1 head cabbage, shredded
- 2 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1/4 c cider vinegar
- 1/2 c water
- 1.5 T sugar
- 1/2 t salt
What you do:
- Combine all ingredients into a large skillet and mix. Bring to a
simmer, cover and cook for 15 - 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Great served with smoked or Polish sausage.
