Top 3 Outback Steakhouse Recipes

I love me some Outback! You know what I mean! Outback is amazing! I don’t think there are many steakhouses that can top Outback when it comes to steak. Ruth Chris steakhouse comes to mind, but I really don’t have the money to eat there! With the tough economic times, I can barely afford to dine at Outback. Fortunately, I can still feel like I am eating at Outback by making Outback Steakhouse recipes at home. Here are my three top three Outback Steakhouse recipes you can make from home!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Outback Steakhouse Alice Springs Chicken<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2022 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, 1\/2 ” thick
\n\u2022 honey mustard
\n\u2022 6 slices bacon, sliced in half
\n\u2022 1\/2 teaspoon McCormick’s Season All
\n\u2022 1 cup sliced mushrooms, drained
\n\u2022 3 cups shredded colby or monterey jack cheese<\/p>\n

Rub chicken breast with Seasonal All and set aside to marinate for 1 hour.
\nWhile the breast is marinating fry bacon crisp and drain.
\nSaut\u00e9 chicken breasts on medium heat in pan with just enough oil to prevent sticking.
\nCook on both sides until a slight golden color and cooked in the middle but not dry.
\nRemove from pan and place in a 9 x 13 dish.
\nSpread chicken breast with honey mustard, cover with a layer of mushrooms, three pieces of bacon and then sprinkle with shredded Colby\/jack cheese, chicken should be covered with shredded cheese.
\nBake at 350 degrees about 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
\nSprinkle with parsley and extra honey mustard may be served on the side.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Outback Steakhouse Bloomin’ Onion<\/b><\/p>\n

4 Vidalia or Texas Sweet Onions
\nBatter:
\n1\/3 C. Cornstarch
\n1 1\/2 C. Flour
\n2 tsp. Garlic — minced
\n2 tsp. Paprika
\n1 tsp. Salt
\n1 tsp. Pepper
\n24 oz. Beer<\/p>\n

Seasoned Flour:
\n2 C. Flour
\n4 tsp. Paprika
\n2 tsp. Garlic powder
\n1\/2 tsp. Pepper
\n1\/4 tsp. Cayenne pepper
\nMix cornstarch, flour, and seasonings until well blended. Add beer, mix well.
\nCut about 3\/4″ off top of onion and peel. Cut into onion 12 to 16 vertical wedges, but do not cut through bottom root end.
\nRemove about 1″ of petals from center of onion. Dip onion in seasoned flour and remove excess by shaking. Separate petals and dip in batter to coat thoroughly.
\nGently place in fryer basket and deep-fry at 375 to 400 1 1\/2 minutes.
\nTurn over, and fry an additional 1 1\/2 minutes.
\nDrain on paper towels.
\nPlace onion upright in shallow bowl and remove center core with circular cutter or apple corer. Serve hot with Creamy Chili Sauce.<\/p>\n

Creamy Chili Sauce:<\/p>\n

1 pint Mayonnaise
\n1 pint Sour cream
\n1\/2 C. Chili sauce
\n1\/2 tsp. Cayenne pepper<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Outback Steakhouse-Style Steak<\/b><\/p>\n

4 top sirloin steaks or rib eye steaks or filet steaks
\nseasoning
\n8 teaspoons salt
\n4 teaspoons paprika
\n2 teaspoons ground black pepper
\n1 teaspoon onion powder
\n1 teaspoon garlic powder
\n1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
\n1\/2 teaspoon coriander
\n1\/2 teaspoon turmeric
\n1. Mix together seasoning ingredients and rub into each side of steak.
\n2. Grill steaks on a large frying pan over medium-high heat; press down on steak with spatula or tongs to sear the edges.<\/p>\n
