Ground Beef Pasta Skillet

 

This quick and easy ground beef pasta skillet recipe consists of 8 ingredients, including oregano, tomatoes, and garlic.

 

 

 

What you need:

 

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 4 oz uncooked penne pasta, cooked al dente and drained
  • 1 small zucchini, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 t dried oregano


What you do:

  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic; drain. 
  • Add oregano, tomatoes and tomato sauce to skillet and bring to a boil.  
  • Reduce heat and simmer on low for about 5 minutes.  
  • Mix in zucchini and pasta and continue to simmer on low for 5 minutes, or until heated through.
