Try this easy alternative to homemade goulash; easy ground beef goulash. It’s made in a crock pot and supplants stew meat with ground beef.
What you need:
- 2 lbs ground beef, browned and drained
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 2 t Paprika
- 1 c water
- 1 t beef bouillon granules
- 1/4 c flour
- 1/2 c ketchup
- 2 t salt
- 1 T prepared mustard
- 8 – 12 oz package egg noodles, cooked per package directions
What you do:
- Combine all ingredients except flour and noodles into a 3.5 quart or larger crock pot and mix.
- Cook, covered, for 6 – 7 hours on low.
- Turn crock pot on high.
- Dissolve flour in 1/2 c cold water and stir mixture into crock pot.
- Cook for 20 minutes.
- Serve over hot noodles.
