Ground Beef Goulash

Ground Beef Goulash

 

Try this easy alternative to homemade goulash; easy ground beef goulash. It’s made in a crock pot and supplants stew meat with ground beef.

 

 

 

What you need:

 

  • 2 lbs ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 t Paprika
  • 1 c water
  • 1 t beef bouillon granules
  • 1/4 c flour
  • 1/2 c ketchup
  • 2 t salt
  • 1 T prepared mustard
  • 8 – 12 oz package egg noodles, cooked per package directions


What you do:

 

  • Combine all ingredients except flour and noodles into a 3.5 quart or larger crock pot and mix.  
  • Cook, covered, for 6 – 7 hours on low.
  • Turn crock pot on high.  
  • Dissolve flour in 1/2 c cold water and stir mixture into crock pot.  
  • Cook for 20 minutes.  
  • Serve over hot noodles.
