This easy crock pot Mexican beef and beans recipe consists of 10 ingredients, including round steak, pinto beans, and canned tomatoes.
What you need:
- 2 lbs round steak, cut into fajita sized strips
- 14.5 oz can tomatoes, undrained and chopped
- 15.5 oz can pinto beans, drained
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1.5 T prepared mustard
- 1.5 T chili powder
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 t beef bouillon granules
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/8 t black pepper
What you do:
- Place round steak in a 3.5 quart or larger crock pot.
- Add remaining ingredients except beans to crock pot and mix thoroughly.
- Cook, covered, for 6 hours on low.
- Add beans to crock pot and continue cooking on low for 1 hour.
- Serve with tortillas and hot sauce, or over rice.
