Crock Pot Mexican Beef and Beans

 

This easy crock pot Mexican beef and beans recipe consists of 10 ingredients, including round steak, pinto beans, and canned tomatoes.

 

 

What you need:

 

  • 2 lbs round steak, cut into fajita sized strips
  • 14.5 oz can tomatoes, undrained and chopped
  • 15.5 oz can pinto beans, drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1.5 T prepared mustard
  • 1.5 T chili powder
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 t beef bouillon granules
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/8 t black pepper


What you do:

  • Place round steak in a 3.5 quart or larger crock pot.  
  • Add remaining ingredients except beans to crock pot and mix thoroughly.
  • Cook, covered, for 6 hours on low.  
  • Add beans to crock pot and continue cooking on low for 1 hour.  
  • Serve with tortillas and hot sauce, or over rice.
