This quick and easy crock pot beef and beans recipe is cooked on low for 8 hours. Ingredients include 2 lbs boneless round steak and diced green chiles.
What you need:
- 16 oz dried small white beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 lbs boneless beef round steak, trimmed of fat and cut into bite sized pieces
- 4 cups hot water
- 28 oz can diced peeled tomatoes, undrained
- 4 oz can diced green chiles
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 3 T chili powder
- 1.5 T cumin
- 1 T dried oregano
- 1 t ground coriander
- 1/8 t cayenne pepper
- 1/8 t black pepper
- 1 t salt
What you do:
- Place all ingredients into a 5-6 quart crock pot and mix.
- Cook covered for 8 hours on low, or until beans are tender but not mushy.
