This quick and easy banana nut pancakes recipe consists of 9 ingredients, including cinnamon applesauce, flour, and pecans.
What you need:
- 2 small ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 c flour
- 1 c milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- ¼ c chopped toasted pecans
- 2 T cinnamon applesauce
- 1 T sugar
- 2 t baking powder
- ¼ t salt
What you do:
- Mix flour with sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. In a different bowl, combine egg with milk, applesauce, pecans and mashed bananas. Combine dry mixture with wet mixture.
- Spray a griddle with non-stick cooking spray then heat over low to medium low heat.
- Scoop batter onto griddle (use ¼ c per pancake), make sure to leave enough space between pancakes as they will spread out. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 7-10 minutes total.
