What you need:
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 3 slices white bread
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c onion
- 1/2 c celery, chopped
- 1/2 c green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 c milk
- 1/4 c ketchup (separated)
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1.5 t Creole seasoning
- 1/8 t black pepper
What you do:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a loaf pan or baking pan
with non stick spray.
- Soak bread in milk. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients
except for 1/2 the ketchup and shape into a loaf. Place meatloaf into pan. Spread the remaining ketchup over the top of the meatloaf. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes. Remove cover and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Let stand 5 -10 minutes before slicing.
