What you need:
- 15 oz can refried beans
- 1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3/4 c milk
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- flour tortillas
What you do:
- In a large saucepan, combine refried beans, milk and garlic and
mix. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until heated through.
- Stir in cheddar cheese and continue cooking over low heat,
stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted.
- Serve as a filling in heated flour tortillas. Top with hot sauce of
choice. May also serve as a hot bean and cheese dip with tortillas chips.
