What you need:

  • 1/2 c olive oil
  • 1/3 c soy sauce
  • 1/4 c lemon juice
  • 3 T prepared mustard
  • 2 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 T onion, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 t black pepper
  • 1 t liquid smoke

What you do:

  • Combine all ingredients in a gallon sized airtight plastic bag or
    plastic container and mix.  Add 2 lbs chicken, pork or lamb to
    container and mix to coat.  Refrigerate for 4 or more hours,
    mixing to coat at least once.  Use remaining marinade to baste
    while grilling.
