What you need:
- 16 oz package baby carrots
- 3/4 c apple juice
- 2 T butter
- 2 t maple syrup
- 1/2 t sugar
- 1 t apple cider vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
What you do:
- Sauté carrots in hot butter over medium high heat, stirring
frequently, about 7 minutes or until carrots are very lightly browned.
- Add remaining ingredients and heat to a boil. Reduce heat to
medium and cook for about 13 -15 minutes, stirring occasionally. When done, carrots will be tender and liquid reduced to a glaze.
