What you need:
- 3-4 lb chicken
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 2 medium or 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 t salt
- 1/4 t black pepper
- 3/4 c chicken broth
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp dried basil
What you do:
- Place veggies in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add chicken
broth. Set chicken on top of veggies. Add salt, pepper, garlic and basil; cover. Cook for 8 hours on low.
